Specially trained Money Advisors. Drop in service available.
Information, Advice & Advocacy - Free, confidential and impartial service. The service covers a wide range of issues. Free Age UK guides and factsheets are also available. We also offer a drop-in service.
Counselling - Professional counselling service available to anyone aged 50+. Our Counselling Service can provide a safe and confidential space in which to talk with a counsellor who will listen and help you explore and understand your feelings. Issues such as: bereavement, loneliness, being out of work, depression, anxiety, mental health issues, self-confidence, sexuality and stress.
Helping Hands - Help with those odd little jobs that can cause a big headache (e.g. changing light bulbs, changing curtains or chair covers, moving furniture, clearing a loft, defrosting a fridge and other small handyperson tasks in the home. The service is free and available for people aged 50+.
Befriending - For those who are isolated. Additionally, we have access to our national Age UK telephone befriending service “A Call In Time”. Contact us for details.
